In this media-saturated digital world, there are constant changes in technologies and reader needs, so this website must keep up! The simplest way of letting you know about changes made to this website is right here.
What hasn’t changed
For over 25 years, Wine Alchemy has catered for wine lovers who enjoy reading. This website remains as active as ever. As does the commitment to providing an independent, free, private and secure website. There’s no editorial interference or use of AI. There are no sponsors, adverts, affiliate links, donation requests or financial inducements. There are no guest posts either. You are a person deserving of respect, never a product to be monetised or exploited. Who pays for this website? I do.
At any one time, there are over 400 articles in publication here. Occasionally, new articles replace old ones, while others receive updates when there is new relevant information. Some have taken on a life of their own.
None of this will change.
Home
The Homepage navigation has new revisions. Every article currently published is available in date order, starting with the most recent. Infinite scrolling downwards will add more articles the deeper you go. There’s also a simple search facility. In the sidebar, the most recent 20 posts are listed. All posts are archived by Month/Year and also by Category. It all works to suit whatever device you are using.
Events
The Events page has been taken away because Wine Alchemy has now retired from hosting wine events and wine education courses. Instead, Wine Alchemy now concentrates solely on the written word.
Food
There is now a new Food page for articles where Food is the dominant theme rather than wine. This includes aspects such as restaurants, hotels and pubs. Food provenance, quality and sustainability are also critical facets. Consequently, such articles now have their own dedicated page to improve visibility. Once again, this has an infinite scroll, where topics range from brown sauce to Brussels sprouts, from Fugu to cake, and from markets to recipes.

Every article is here, again in date order, but this time organised by pages of ten articles, with Tags made visible for those who prefer to search that way.

Not much has changed here, except I have got older. So have you. So let’s deal with it together.
