Since it started, wine2wine has become one of the best wine business dates on the calendar. This year there will be over 1,500 delegates attending from around the world.
There will be plenty of expert international speakers covering an A-Z of wine business topics. That includes me!
New topics this year
This year there are also brand new topics that address current and future wine sector issues, including:
- US Market focus
- The top wine influencers
- Market opportunities in Chinese Second Tier cities
- New markets such as Africa and Southeast Asia
- Successful case studies in Oenotourism
- Experiential Marketing, Native Advertising, and Social Media
- The future of Technology
- Digital marketing to Millenials
- The multifaceted Canadian Market
- Legal aspects of wine
and there’s much, much more besides, including,
- From Grape to Glass, demystifying the Blockchain. Yes, that’s my bag. Didn’t I say the Blockchain was hot?
New format, new App
The format is that each speaker has a 30-minute presentation slot. That means a 20-minute presentation, with a further 10 minutes for audience questions. Each session is part of a larger theme, co-ordinated and led by a single moderator. These meetings are intended to be of real use. Attendees get practical takeaways that they can apply in their business straightaway.
Of course, one of the other great things is networking with colleagues and potential business partners. Hence another new feature this year is the introduction of a dedicated wine2wine App for iOS and Android. That makes the event easy for delegates; they can meet each other, see the program and create a personal topics agenda. Even the event access will be by presenting the digital registration within the App.
And of course, it all takes place in the fair city of Verona. Easy to get to by plane, train or car. And of course, it’s a World Heritage Site with great wines on its doorstep. Verona is not just a city; it’s a complete experience.
